I am responsible, hardworking and a good listener. My engagement with CCF in the RAF section has lead me to a lot of opportunities to develop these skills such as taking part in command tasks which require intense attention to detail and engaged listening when briefed about the task, as well as a lot of teamwork to delegate tasks and take responsibility for my part - asking questions about the details missed in the briefing and taking initiative to help my team. My experience helping out with a primary school class has shown that I am a fast learner, adjusting to the lesson and helping the children with ICT, arts and crafts or english.
Furthermore, my past experience being captain of netball has helped me develop my leadership and organisational skills - helping to assign positions to my teammates based on their strengths was beneficial for helping me develop both in the sport and the soft skills to help me in my future career.

I volunteered as a classroom assistant at a primary school. I learned how to delegate tasks and handle emotional conflicts between the children.
Volunteer - British Red Cross
I had to process clothing and accessories to be put out on sale - selecting a price based on the condition of the item and its overall value. I created price tags and attached them to items before folding them and putting them out on the shop floor for purchase. This helped to develop my organisational skills as well as my initiative to work alone most of the time without supervision.
