Hi, my name is Isabel Rowe and I am a motivated, reliable and hard-working student who is currently enrolled at Eggbuckland Community College Sixth Form in which I study Business Studies, English Literature and Criminology. I have both strong communication and organisational skills, and I enjoy working independently and as a team. I am willing and eager to bring my positive attitude into a professional working environment where I can continue to develop my skills.

Experience

Summer Retail Assistant - Sports Direct

(2025-07 - 2025-09)

Whilst I worked at Sports Direct, I was trained to operate the tills, process transactions and manage customers' click and collect orders. This position allowed me to gain confidence in face to face customer service, problem solving skills and handling customer enquiries. During busy periods such as bank holidays, I was able to support my team members which demonstrates my teamwork and reliability.

Y10 Work Experience at a florist - Flower Fayre

(2024-07 - 2024-07)

During my work experience opportunity at Flower Fayre which I completed in Y10 I was able to assist with the daily operations of the florist which involved cleaning the shop, conditioning the flowers and preparing materials such as cellophane for the florists. I was also able to learn the logistics of delivery and I was trusted and given the responsibility to deliver flowers to customers. This experience improved by communication skills by allowing me to interact with customers on a daily basis.

This placement also gave me the opportunity to create my own floral arrangements which allowed me to develop my creativity skills and my attention to detail.
