I am a second-year undergraduate student at the University of Leeds, studying Modern Languages (Spanish) and Business BA. I am looking for a work placement (internship) in Spain for my third year of study as a part of my degree. I love travelling and experiencing new cultures, and I am always up for a new challenge to further my personal development and give me more experience.
I enjoy spending my free time baking, running and spending time with my friends. I am looking for opportunities in any sector where I can use and practise my Spanish language skills and contribute to a business/local community.
John Lewis ltd - Operations Partner: Responsible for display stock replenishment and ensuring displays are maintained to the highest standard; this has enabled me to develop organisational skills, an adaptable approach to daily workload, excellent time management and teamwork skills.
Clarks ltd - Sales Assistant: Responsible for delivering high-quality customer service and care to shoppers, supporting them throughout their buying journey. This has helped me to develop excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Izzy's Cakes - Cake Decorator: Set up my own cake business, making and selling high-quality occasion cakes to a range of customers, managing all elements of the business, including cost calculations, pricing and profit margins.
The Wee Bookshop and Café - Volunteer: Volunteering at a local charity café, maintaining a tidy front and back of house, and supporting the charity in raising money for bladder cancer through coffee and cake sales.
St Andrew's Church of England Primary School - Classroom Assistant: Conducted work experience at a local primary school where I worked with students in year 2. I was responsible for helping with a range of activities in the classroom, from individual reading practice with the children, to helping with maths work and P.E.
