May 2021 – Present

• Promoted to Senior Analyst within a year, contributing to the development of AI-based cardiovascular diagnostic tools using in-house software.
• Analysed multi-site research project data, automating processes through Python scripting, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Conducted software testing, triaged issues, provided customer feedback, and participated in defect reviews, ensuring product improvements and user satisfaction.
• Streamlined data organisation using Excel, improving reporting accuracy and reducing human error across imaging workflows.

June 2018 – June 2019

• Led research on 4D cardiac motion using Python and Ansys FEA
• Implemented dimensionality reduction algorithms such as PCA for 3D MRI and CT imaging, optimising data handling for clinical use.
• Coordinated weekly cross-disciplinary meetings, driving project efficiency by solving technical issues through collaboration.
• Further developing research using heart models from the Living Heart Project, working closely with an international team to refine cardiac models.

Centre for Computational Imaging and Simulation Technologies in Biomedicine (CISTIB), Sheffield - 3D Modeling Researcher

June 2017 - June 2018

• Received a grant from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council to undertake a project analysing medical device suitability (stents) for cerebral aneurysms using medical image data. Creating and segmenting 3D virtual stent models using software.
• Liaising with clinicians and researchers to obtain brain stents. To scan and create 3D virtual models of various stents to expand the CISTIB library of virtual models. To carry out in-silico testing of the stents using GIMIAS, an in-house computer modelling software. To present my work to a multidisciplinary audience of project members in weekly team meetings. Use of Biobank data.
• Trained to operate a micro-computed tomography (micro-CT) imaging machine, using image processing software, reconstructed images into 3D models and simulations and wrote scientific documents. I successfully expanded the library of stents for CISTIB.
