Isatou Joof

I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic student who is looking for a role that will allow me to develop professional skills that I had the opportunity to pick up in my years of previous employment and to widen my own, personal experience in general.

I have spent a year both waitressing and bartending in a pub/restaurant regularly serving food, welcoming customer, handling money and learning wines as well as pouring draught beers. Most recently I gained some wider hospitality experience working as a server and barmaid at the Cheltenham races offering a more exclusive level of service. I have have worked for 9 months as a kitchen porter, so understand the fast paced kitchen environment and the imperative need for quick and effective work in a restaurant setting.

I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Birmingham studying sociology. Previous to this I completed my A levels at sixth form with AAB grades and have 9 GCSEs at grades 6-9.
