I'm a 18 year old girl who's currently just completed as of the 9th of July 2026 my Level 3 Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF Level 7. I finish my contract at the nursery I done my apprenticeship for this on the 31st July 2026. I also was at college over in Clydebank Campus for a year from 2024-2025 doing an Early Entry to Education and Childcare course, that I passed last may.
Motivated with years of being in school I've always strived to do my best. I'm Energetic and love challenges. I achieve goals on time and under pressure. I gained a lot of confidence and experience doing my apprenticeship in a nursery for just over 11 months by the time I am finished my contract, I worked with babies as little as 7 months old all the way to 5 year olds.
Communicator - I Always answer out in class, I voice my opinions, thoughts and ideas and, I can keep a conversation going. I'm very outspoken and easy to communicate with. Trustworthy - I always strive to do my absolute best, I come into work everyday with a smile and readiness to learn, I never let myself not ask questions if I am confused as there is no such thing as a silly question while working in childcare.
Easy Learner - I adapt to things easily and am a fast and easy learner. I have a twin brother who has additional needs, autism to be exact and I'm always helping with him. From the moment I was born all the way up to right now, I have been one of the main carers for him.
Due to him having additional needs, I know how important it is to be patient with individuals who you may find you end up having a hard time understanding or dealing with on a daily basis. I know you've got to have sympathy as well as empathy, compassion and readiness to adapt to different situations. Reliable - I am a reliable and honest person, I prove myself to everybody necessary and always strive to do my best, I'm never late, always on time, always positive and ready to learn.
I went to college for one year over in Clydebank Campus and would get up at 5am every morning to be there for 8am and wouldn't be getting home until 7/8pm.
