Volunteer - Pony Club
Gained valuable experience working with both large and small animals and children. Played a main role in helping and building confidence and communication in children with ASN. Taught horse riding lessons and helped train younger children how to care and be around large animals like horses and smaller animals like goats and chickens.
Work Experience - Clyde Vets
Developed a greater understanding of animal care and veterinary practice. Strengthened communication skills, confidence, and ability to work professionally in a busy environment.
School Leadership and Volunteering Activities - Dalziel High School
Took part in a range of school leadership and volunteering activities including Junior Leadership, Netball, and Primary Games Mornings. These roles helped develop strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and organisational skills while working closely with both peers and younger children.
