I have a natural passion for working with children and I would relish the opportunity to further my skills and passion by working in a nursery. I continually want to learn and grow from the best, whilst also gaining invaluable experience and professional qualifications. Work Placement at Torbain nursery

Work placement which was one afternoon per week. Made very nice bonds with the kids.

• Help to plan activities
• Assist experienced staff by helping to keep the children occupied
• Reading books to them
• Playing with them in the indoor and outdoor areas
• Helping with snack time
• Help them to get ready for home time by showing them how to put coats, hats, gloves and scarves on

• Produced different types of play plans
• Gained knowledge about how children react to different types of play
• Performed hands-on tasks such as bathing, changing and feeding a baby
• Made play stations and sensory areas
• Tested play stations and sensory areas with real children
