Barista Maestro - Costa Coffee - Staffordshire
(2023-09)
Since starting at one of the busiest Costa Coffees in Staffordshire, I've quickly become accustomed to a high pace work environment. During my time at Costa, I have taken on greater responsibilities and built on existing skills. This has enabled me to progress to the role of Barista Maestro.
Part of my role is to be a shift leader. I pride myself on my customer service skills and ensure that every customer throughout the day has a positive experience of me and the shop as a whole. In particular I feel I can quickly adapt to people's individual needs and special requests.
This means that I have a good relationship with many of the regular customers and I often receive positive comments on our review system pointing out the effort I put into my job. I have thrived in this role and continue to take on further responsibility. I hold myself accountable for the hygiene and cleanliness of the store, ensuring that we pass our bi-yearly hygiene checks.
We have not failed one of these since I started working here.
