My degree in English Literature with Creative Writing taught me the importance of being curious and the impact effective, thoughtful communication can have.

As someone who has loved and cared for animals throughout my life, I know the importance of compassion and consistency. Growing up with a strong sense of responsibility has allowed me to become a reliable and dedicated person.

Supervisor at Ernest Jones (2024-11 – Present)

• Through my current role, I have gained confidence in my ability to create an impactful, enjoyable customer experience and have found that customer interactions are most rewarding when met with enthusiasm and honesty. I carry this through to my interactions with colleagues, too, and have become a reliable, trustworthy member of my team.
• Handling high value stock, keys and customer information requires a strong sense of awareness and responsibility, which I am now confident in.
• I have also become comfortable with the wide range of knowledge required, which ranges from information on diamonds to cashing up a till. Therefore, I am someone my coworkers can come to help with questions or problems. I take pride in being a port of call and being able to help wherever I can.
• Being a detail-oriented person benefits me every day in this role. Working with visual displays of jewellery and watches where appearance matters, handling product information and creating and managing orders all requires a keen eye for anything out of place, allowing customers to have the easiest and most seamless experience.

Volunteer at St Catherine's Bookshop (2024-10 – Present)

• Volunteering for St Catherine's bookshop has allowed me to develop my interests whilst contributing to my community.
• Recently, I have began creating short form videos for St Catherine's social media pages. This allows the shop to expand their online presence, helping to appeal to customers in new, more engaging ways. I enjoy using the ability I have to create these videos as I feel it brings something unique to the team.

'Summer in Leeds' Student Ambassador at University of Leeds (2021-06 – 2021-08)

• When I was working as a 'Summer in Leeds' student ambassador it was my job to help run activities and engage with a large group of new people. I had to initiate conversations to help build a warm, welcoming environment, as most of the people I worked with were new or international students. This role showed me how to be enthusiastic and approachable whilst being responsible and a team leader.
