Visits to multiple engineering companies in the northeast looking at various types of machinery including conventional milling, lathes, horizontal boring machines, and axis milling machines. Understanding how they work and for what purpose and interesting to see how parts were measured to meet the requirements of the drawings and model provided, witnessing quite a few machines for lots of different industries.
