Jack Brannan

I have worked in hospitality since I was 16, I have worked on bars and on floors. Over the past year have taken on more of a senior role at my last local pub, I made rotas, looked after all the lager, beer, wine and spirits as well as lead the floor team during a busy service. I have gained a good knowledge on cask beers due to me having to recommend ales to my old regulars, especially after learning which types they prefer.

Learning how to tap and put on ales was also a fun challenge as I had only changed lager barrels before. I am fully bar trained with knowledge of cocktails, coffee and spirits, I am also interested in learning a bit more about wines.

I have worked a lot of events such as weddings and birthday parties so can deal with the pressure of a busy shift well and to the best standards. I have been to the theatre a few times and love the atmosphere and the building. I love speaking to customers and bringing something a bit personal to their experience, which I believe brings people back.

Working well with the rest of the staff is super important especially on busy shifts, I believe even under pressure I can support everyone and deliver good service. I am a level headed person which helps me run a lot of food without getting overwhelmed or too stressed out.

I am a confident, motivated and enthusiastic person who can work well on my own or as part of a team. I have a strong willingness to learn and to be trained in all aspects of a career. I take pride in doing every task to the best quality and have reliable Lme management skills. I get on with everyone and I find myself very approachable. I am always keen to get into a job and learn new ways to improve my skills. I also hold a full UK driving license.
