I am an engineer with 3 years experience in industry. In my current role I am a quality engineer for an automotive supplier with skills in Problem Solving, Control Plans and PMEA. I also have an interest in design and I am a certified user of SolidWorks and hold the CSWA, CSWP and 2 CSWP-A certificated in weldments and mould making.
I possess strong knowledge of essential modelling techniques including solid part modelling, sheet metal, weldments, surfacing and drafting with appropriate GD&T standards.
During University I set up and led a privateer motorsport team with 4 other Students. This involved designing from scratch, manufacturing and racing an electric power vehicle for the Greenpower Formula 24+ racing series. Since finishing racing I have continued to work as an ambassador for the Greenpower charity in my spare time, where I assist in the set-up and running of local race events for schools.
