Jack Middleton

I am currently employed as an Aircraft Refueller at Leeds Bradford Airport which I have been doing for the last year and a half, I have previous experience working as a Ground Operations Supervisor and Team Leader in Aviation working with Rotary Aircraft.

I have an NVQ Level 3 in Aviation Operations on the Ground, I achieved this qualification while serving with the Army Air Corps and worked my way to supervisor level working in a busy operational unit managing small teams carrying out aircraft movement, Refuelling and airfield operations.

I am hoping to continue and progress my career working in the Rotary industry as well as training to become a pilot to achieve my dream of being a commercial helicopter pilot.

In summary I have experience in Ground Operations within the Aviation Industry. In my currently role I am responsible for fuel management and accounting. This involves fuel receiving and accounting, fuel testing and storage accounting and the quality control and supply of aviation fuel to passenger carrying airlines.

I have supervisory experience in aircraft ground handling, Refuelling, airfield and aircraft operations.

Relevant education for my role is an NVQ Level 3 diploma in Aviation Operations on the Ground, achieved during my time in the Military and carried out by Babcock. This also included English, Maths and IT courses that are equivalent to GCSEs at A-C
