Looking for entry level IT positions

I'm currently building active directories on my home lab - playing with adding users, domains and groups, I've also got a basic understand of IP, routers ,switches and python.
As most IT positions require some sort of previous IT experience and I've only got experience on the professional development side (sales, general office experience) I've been struggling to find an entry level position to give me the chance to develop and grow with in the IT industry.
I came out of school wanting to develop my professional career and stated out with a contract as a recruitment consultant and following that became a sales manager - selling corporate exhibition space. I left there as I wanted to peruse something I wanted to do - and that was IT. So I focused on developing my knowledge, to have a better chance against candidates that may have more experience
I don't have any qualifications - I'm looking into courses such as the CompTIA A+/ N+ and some government funded course to do as home learning.
