I am a graduate of Yale University, where I studied History, and was a member of the varsity rowing team and the student finance society. In addition, I took classes covering a range of fields within finance, including accounting, global financial markets, corporate finance and real estate investing. Following my graduation, I worked briefly in accounting, before completing an internship at Bespoke Capital Partners, a London-based merchant bank, where I worked on several potential transactions in the consumer, leisure and gaming sectors for both Bespoke and its advisory affiliate, Global Leisure Partners. My work at the firm consisted of analyzing market research and company financial statements, conducting valuations using comparable public company analysis and precedent transactions, assisting with discounted cash flows and LBO modelling, and creating and revising pitch decks, teasers and other materials. I also worked closely on a number of deals on the private equity side of the business, where my role consisted of preparing investment and marketing materials for clients and founders, as well as background research on management and other forms of due diligence.
