Jack Winfindale

I am an 18 year old male. I have completed my GCSEs with a passing grade and I have also passed my college course with a grade A. I am looking for full time work with experience within a cafe taking orders from customers and cleaning tables while having a positive attitude. secondly I have also got experince with machines when I was a ride operator. To start my ride I had to do it all manually understanding how to start and turn off the ride also knowing how to reset it if it shuts down. with this work experience and school, I have obtained great communication skills and attention to detail. On the other hand, with my college course I have obtained skills within leadership.

As a ride operator, I was ensured to make sure that every customer We had, had the best experience while at the park and as well as making sure they were safe on the rides they have chosen. I had to make sure people were the right height. However this is where a lot of problem solving came in as people were not happy with the height regulations so I had to make the best decision at the time to keep everyone happy. On the other hand I had some experiences with machinery as I worked on the ride. I started it and stopped it manually also knowing how to reset it if it broke or shut down.

Thomas Rotherham College was my most recent education which I finished in may 2024. My course was an outdoor course which taught me how to be a leader. While on the course we did activities such as kayaking, rock climbing indoor and outdoor and also hill walking. This boosted my communication skills a lot as I was taught to talk to everyone I saw and taught to teach my own groups. On the other hand this also improved my leadership skills and attention to detail. At the end of the course I Finished my course with my A levels.
