My name is Jack Woods, I'm 20 years old (한국 나이는 21살이에요). I'm from England (영국). I have taught English to many people online for free, simply because I had so much enjoyment by teaching english to people. When i was teaching english online, I taught over 200 people. I was very happy to do this everyday because I loved it so much. I have studied Korean before and I have talked to many people in Korea using the Korean language. I'm very passionate about meeting people from other cultures and I also love playing piano too. I'm very passionate about travelling too. I want to visit many countries and I came to Korea first because I love the culture and i think the language is beautiful. I tried many good foods too such as; 떡볶이, 한국 스타일 치킨, 물냉면, 라면. When I was teaching English online, I would post lessons on an app and anyone from anywhere in the world could see my lessons. Many of the people who interacted with my lessons were Korean. I taught people ranging from the ages of 18-60. I am very passionate about working in Korea and finding the perfect job for me. I'm very hardworking and I want to try my best to pass on my native english ability to as many people around the world. I believe English is a beautiful language and is very useful for everyone. I am very excited to see the opportunities I get. I want to show you how passionate I am, and I want to complete my dream of teaching English to others. I started teaching english to people when I was 18, and now I am 20, so I have had this passion for a while. Please consider me for the job role. It's my dream to teach my native language to others and watch them develop their language skills through listening, speaking, and writing. I have learnt many amazing skills that have helped me develop my teaching ability to others. When i was in school, I presented many presentations in my classes and I also learnt how to communicate better. While i was teaching english to people, i also developed my organisation skills and time management skills. This is something that will make me a great teacher to my students. I have also been told that I have a very friendly connection with people and I strongly believe that it helps me connect with people better when I teach them or present them with new information. I am very interested in any job offers for teaching in Korea. Im very thankful to you for reading this, and I hope you can conside me for the job role. Thankyou for your time.
In terms of professional experience, I have only had experience working in a cafe to save money and visit Korea. I worked there for many months and developed skills such as working at a pace and meeting short deadlines, and I also developed my ability to change my focus quickly because i had to focus on many people at once. However, my unprofessional experience was teaching english for a while, and I taught over 200 people from many countries. I did this as my hobby as I simply did it out of enjoyment.
I attended a school called Eastwood Academy which is in the top 2% of schools in England. I finished my studies in High-school when I was 16 years old, and then I studied at a local college called Seevic until I was 18 years old. I studied Sports-science which covered a range of various topics such as psychology, fitness, massage, management, and many more. I believe myself to be a very educated person and I completed my studies at the college with D*D*D (Grading system for the sports science B-tech department). This is the second highest possible grade that anyone can get, and I'm very proud of myself for that.
