Selections Manager - London
- Oversee, develop and mentor a team of SQL data selection executives to provide stakeholders with marketing data for complex mailing campaigns. Making sure all data provided is to a high and compliant standard.
- Building relationships with stakeholders and managing their expectations where necessary. Ensuring the team can meet the demands of the charity within reasonable timeframes, while being flexible wherever possible.
- Creating SQL select queries to manipulate complex data structures to provide stakeholders with data for new and on-going marketing campaigns.
- Perform database administration tasks; creating new stored procedures, functions, optimizing current scripts while also monitoring performance.
- Use my knowledge to help with new developments within the charity. Most recently having involvement with the integration of the ETL platform Boomi moving all of our ETL processes from Talend.
- Monitoring data quality. Creating python reports to compare the data that is stored in salesforce against what is in the data warehouse to ensure that we have accurate and up to date data regularly available. While also providing reports on data quality and giving feedback on how we can improve the charities data quality.
- Automating manual tasks using PowerShell and task scheduler.

- Providing technical support, maintenance, and development for over 40 clients in the not-for-profit sector.
- I continue to work collaboratively with a large number of stakeholders at all levels to understand their requirements from their databases. As an organisation continually evolve, I engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and offer guidance to be able to achieve positive outcomes.
- As part of my role, I manage the support desk to ensure appropriate customer support and problem resolution is provided in a timely manner, creating action plans, prioritising, delegating tasks and personally resolving over 5500 support calls to maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
- I am responsible for ensuring clients meet data protection requirements and GDPR compliance while working with highly sensitive data. The importance of data security is paramount, therefore ensuring the Stakeholders are informed to current statutory requirements.
- Maintain Microsoft windows server environments to guarantee stable development and client satisfaction.
- Leading the development of bespoke grant management, fundraising, helpline, and animal shelter modular-based CRMs. Working on streamlining processes, creating new components, and dashboards.
