In both high school and college, I have studied media, so I have experience and enjoy being educated within this field. I would love to continue to progress in this field through work and further study. From content creating and brainstorming ideas, to filming and/ or taking photographs, through to the editing. I enjoy seeing a project through from start to finish and seeing the final creation. I am creative and often think up unique and engaging ideas for videos and content for YouTube. I am extremely passionate about creating videos and photographic content and take pride in my work.
I enjoy filming short clips in my free time. I love all parts of this from the planning, to filming, through to the final editing of the project. I often do this in my own free time, I have a YouTube channel with over 1500 subscribers where I post all my productions, my short films, and sketches. Through doing this as a hobby, I have learnt how to work various cameras, and I feel confident in my knowledge and skills when using various editing software. I feel that this is what originally made me realise that I wanted to pursue media in some aspect for my future. My YouTube channel videos require me to edit and merge scenes. I really enjoy putting these together due to the complexity and the challenge and then the reward in seeing the finished product. I can be quite a shy person, but when I am either in front or behind a camera or putting forward my ideas - I become extremely confident, and my personality radiates.
A hobby of mine is to take photographs of my pets and scenery or anything that captures my creative eye plus I love to snorkel where I thrive taking underwater photographs and filming underwater videos.
