Jacqi Cook

I’m currently a private housekeeper, a role I’ve held for 17 years. I’m now semi retired and I’m looking for a new role. I have a son who has Down’s syndrome (now 36) and I used to help out at his school teaching health, hygiene, make up and dressing. I’m pretty much done with housekeeping and would like to get more involved as a SEN assistant. I already assist with the RDA, specifically with young people who have autism.

I’ve worked as an executive PA for many years. I’ve been on the board of governors for Greenside School (Stevenage SLD) where my son attended. Heavily involved with fundraising whilst my son was at the school.

I have O levels in maths, English (lit and Lang), geography and art. Many years experience with special needs. Many years experience housekeeping. I’m IT literate.
