About

I am a focused individual that is looking to help children navigate their learning path through school life, with all the challenges this may bring. I believe I would fit in to you're workplace as I can apply myself to any task required, using my own initiative or as part of a team. I communicate very well, enjoy working with children, learn fast and enjoy working to beat targets and deadlines.

Experience

Learning support assistant (2024-09 – Present)

I am currently working in a school. I work in the classroom helping children with special needs and behaviour issues to learn in a manner that works for them and is productive for a school environment. I also do key skills, interventions, ELSA and precision teaching.

After school club assistant (2023-10 – 2024-08)

I was working in a local school running an after school club five days a week. This involves taking a register of all attending children between the ages of reception to year six, averaging twenty children every day. I plan and organise different activities for each day including crafts and outdoor sports. I give the children an afternoon snack that varies daily. At the end of the day I ensure all children are returned safely to the correct appropriate adult.

Self employed stay and play organiser (2022-08 – Present)

I set up different activities each week that are age appropriate and also engaging for the children. I interact with the parents for feedback on improving the business. This may include snack ideas, general safety talks and varying equipment use.

Studying for teaching qualifications (2020-09 – 2022-08)

Telemarketing operator at BCC Wellingborough (2018-03 – 2020-08)

In this role I took both inbound and outbound calls. I used automated dialling systems calling businesses to complete surveys and offer products on a trial basis. I have dealt with companies calling for advice and information on products available and taking payments. I also completed day to day office tasks and used my experience to help colleagues with guidance and advice where needed.

(2016-10 – 2018-03)

At this time I was out of work due to a sporting injury.

Self Employed Mobile Hairdresser (2012-01 – 2016-10)

I was running my own business as a mobile hairdresser. I promoted my business and sourced customers this included making calls and booking appointments. I undertook all aspects of hairdressing this also included handling finances, ordering all stock and taking payments.

Avon sales leader at Self employed (2009-03 – 2012-01)

This role involved delivering products and catalogues to customers, taking orders and payments. I used an online account to order products and receive deliveries.
