Jaiden Holbeche

I am a passionate individual currently seeking work in the science or retail sectors. I am 23 years old and have a college and university education, centred mainly around biology and conservation, in which I have completed a bachelor's and master's degree. I also have work experience in customer service, as well as in volunteering at a nature reserve.

I have several skills such as teamwork, emotional intelligence, empathy, surveying skills, customer service, effective communication, adaptability, literacy and mathematical skills, scientific writing, GIS skills, computer skills, etc.

Gorse Hill Nature Reserve - Conservation Volunteer 2023-2023

I primarily conducted nest box surveys and recorded data on the condition and progression of nests. I also recorded and compiled data on the development of the hatchlings, as well as providing a table of each box's success to the site manager. When not surveying, I was helping with the construction or repair of nest boxes or maintaining the hedgerows lining the grasslands and woodlands.

I also removed ivy from strangled trees. I also helped direct members of the public who visited the site and give them information about the site as a whole. I had to stop volunteering once my university education was completed due to moving back to my permanent address.

Marks & Spencer - Retail Assistant 2017-2018

Worked in Womenswear mostly but also worked in foods, menswear, kids, and the café when staff was needed. Helping customers in finding specific items they may be looking for and checking stock online for them. Advising on what alternatives there are for things not in stock or ordering more.

Shelved stock in the morning such as shoes before the store opened alone or in groups of two or three. Also worked in changing rooms and was responsible for putting the clothing racks back out after people tried clothes on, assisting customers and guiding customers to empty changing rooms. I also worked the tills and made sure that the customers had a great end to their shopping experience.
