Jaime Little

I am looking to start my career in a beauty/fashion PR environment. I just graduated with a 2:1 studying 'Media Communications with PR' at the University of The West of England (UWE). I enjoy photography, editing, content creation, and writing. I have experience ranging between hospitality, retail, and journalism. Each have taught me various skills that can be transferred into any position.

Work Experience - Bristol 24/7 - Bristol

I completed a week of work experience where I was able to write articles, join editorial meetings, go out and interview a local business, and use communication platforms including slack. I was able to develop my knowledge on article writing and uploading them via 'word press', created unique headlines, and pitching ideas to team members.

Live Brief Module (Work Experience) - Cotswold National Landscape - Remote

As a part of a live brief module at UWE we were paired up with a local organisation to create social media posts, long-form videos, and a poster. From this experience I gained more knowledge around working with a larger company and conforming with brand guidelines. It also helped develop my abilities with editing and content creation.

Stylist - Lovisa - Bristol

As apart of my 'Stylist' position I had many responsibilities such as product stock and merchandising, customer service, and other various tasks.

• Product Stock and Merchandising - daily replenishment of products, accepting deliveries, and following planograms for store 'moves'.
• Customer Service - giving advice on which products to buy, money-handling/handling refunds, and aiming to reach daily sale and goal targets.
• Other - operating a 'pos'/till system, sale scanning, stocktaking, opening/closing the store, daily report logs, and supporting team members.

Front of House - Premier Inn - Bristol

During my time here, my main roles included waitressing, working on bar, and working in the reception.

• Waitressing - managing a 'section' of the restaurant efficiently, taking orders, and supporting team-members across all departments.
• Working on Bar - preparing and serving drinks, money handling, and operating the till and card machines.
• Working in Reception - checking guests in/out of the hotel, handling phone calls, and dealing with guest queries and issues.

Café Assistant - Weavers Walk Café - Newbury

I performed a range of duties including customer service, food and beverage preparation, and communication.

• Customer Service - taking orders, managing multiple tables, and resolving customer issues.
• Food and Beverage Preparation - food hygiene awareness, basic cooking and preparation skills, and knowledge of food storage.
• Communication - fast-paced environment, cash-handling, and training new team members.
