Jake Gamad-Perrett

I'm a Year 12 student at Rushden Academy studying Art, Geography, Core Mathematics and Design Technology. I'm reliable and easy to work with, and I take pride in getting things right rather than just getting them done. I pay close attention to detail and I'm quick to notice when something isn't quite working, which means I can usually fix small problems before they become bigger ones.

I enjoy being part of a team and helping out where I'm needed, but I'm just as comfortable working on my own and keeping myself organised. Art and Design Technology have given me a chance to be creative and come up with my own ideas, which is something I really enjoy. Outside of school, basketball and the gym keep me disciplined and used to working hard under pressure.

Work Experience Placement - BP Petrol Station, Rushden - Rushden

• Stocked and organised shelves, rotating stock so older items were sold first and nothing went past its expiry date.
• Kept the shop floor clean and well presented, checking regularly that displays met the store's standards.
• Worked reliably within the store's rules around my age, staying focused on my tasks without needing much supervision.
• Built up my organisation, attention to detail and time management by keeping on top of jobs during busy periods.
