Bar Team Leader - Wetherspoons - Horsham

After working as a bar associate for one year, I was promoted to team leader. This involves serving a high volume of customers on the bar according to drink specifications, having extensive knowledge of the food and drink menu, and keeping the bar clean and tidy. As a team leader, I train and supervise junior members of staff, and have to help in situations such as deciding when to cut customers off, or resolve issues involving refunds or changes to orders.

At this job I have helped open and close the pub, which involves reseting tables, cleaning the bar, and fully restocking the fridges.

Bartender - Pryzm

As a bartender at a busy club, I managed genetal bartender duties with the added responsibility of looking after customers, watching out for spikings, drug use, and inebriated customers. I developed a deeper understanding of how to keep customers safe in this environment.

Bartender/Waiter - No1 lounge

At an airport lounge we had to maintain a high standard of customer service for customers who were waiting for their flights. This gave me a lot of experience dealing with all kinds of customers in a friendly and professional manner. As well as general bartending and waiting duties, I had to consider security measures in the airport, and maintain contact with multiple teams.

Shop Assistant - Budgens

Working in a shop gave me a different understanding of customer service, as I was serving customers behind a till. I learned to work quickly and efficiently scanning and packing items, handling cash and coupons, and also helped replenish stock.

Server/Waiter - Premier Inn

Here I learn a lot about customer service. I greeted guests and would manage multiple tables at once, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and resolving queries. I ensured the proper clearing and cleaning of tables to keep the restraunt presentable.
