CNC Machinist | Depe Gear Company 2014 – 2023

CNC Machining – Programmed, set & operated CNC gear shaping & hobbing machines. Produced precision components within micron tolerances (Spur, Helical, External, Internal, Gears & Splines). Ensured compliance with BS/ISO/AGMA/ANSI/DIN quality standards.
Manual Machining – Operated manual lathes & milling machines, produced custom tooling, fixtures & one off components.
Reverse Engineering – Remanufactured legacy parts no longer in production. Took precision measurements from samples. Determined gear pitch, fit & backlash using manual methods & software tools. Produced technical drawings with complete gear specifications for CAD conversion.
Training & Mentorship – Trained Apprentices in machine operation, manual handling, gear manufacturing techniques, quality control & safety procedures. Ensured new team members understood workflow, inspection protocols & proper tool usage.
