I am a family man raised in a large Irish community with a strong sense of my cultural identity.

I am the proud father of three incredible children, two who are now adults and my youngest who keeps me busy outside of work. My life revolves around my family and our shared love of sports particularly Football, Rugby, Gaelic football and hurling, although more as a spectator than a participant. We also love to travel and see new places. I also enjoy concerts, cinema and theatre.

After 27 years loyal service with my previous employer I made the decision to leave and look for new opportunities. I was a valued and well liked member of the organisation but felt that as my older children reach adulthood it is also time for a change of direction for me too.

Although academia was challenging for me I found that I possess the skills to work effectively in manufacturing. I am a very tidy and organised person by nature and this has translated to my working life. I am very detail oriented and take pride in my work always striving to do the very best I can. I regularly use numeracy as part of my working life and am an excellent communicator.

I have 27 years manufacturing experience and hold a forklift truck license and a full clean driving licence. I am exceptionally hard working with an excellent timekeeping and attendance record and can provide excellent references.

I am happy to work as part of a team but am also confident when working independently. I would love the opportunity to demonstrate the value I could add to your business, I am enthusiastic, motivated with a ‘can do‘ attitude to work and am flexible in my approach to working practices.

I have been a loyal employee to my current employer for the last 27 year. My duties included:

• maintaining a clean workstation to comply with safety guidelines and protocols.
• Independently operated production line equipment used in the concrete production industry
