I am a young man keen to get started and gain experience in my electrical career. After working in construction for 2 years I went to college and completed my electrical qualifications in just 16 weeks. I now want to get working and start building my NVQ portfolio.
My work ethic is a testament to my dedication and reliability. As a hard worker, I am fully equipped with my own tools and hold both ECS and CSCS cards. Additionally, I am CIS registered, further demonstrating my commitment to the electrical industry.
I spend much of my spare time volunteering as a first aider at local events.
I fitted and maintained fire safety curtains across various sites in and around London. Fitting involved terminated FP and armoured cable, which I worked safely with. I would work to find workarounds/solutions to daily issues whilst on site and deal with emergencies and repairs. I would attend sites on my own to complete maintenance, and I was confident to deal with site managers to help co-ordinate works.
This role involved working to tight deadlines and under pressure. I communicated daily with customers, other trades, and colleagues to coordinate our work within the sites. I regularly worked long hours, weekends, and overnight stays when required. I gained experience running FP cables and terminating them into control panels. I also completed engineer report sheets and regularly liaised with site managers.
