I started working in the solar industry as a labourer/trainee electrician.
I put myself through college in the evenings to complete my Level 2 C&G Electrical Installation course, this has given me a better understanding for the installs ive completed.
I worked on the O&M maintenance as a subcontractor for Solarplicit/Green Energy Together.
After labouring for a year I moved onto installs and haven’t looked back nearly 7 years later.
I’ve been trained how to install everything up to the mains. So the full roof side of the install, cable runs, inverter, battery and some EV points as well.
Ive mainly worked on Domestic properties, but have some commercial experience.
Due to how hard times are for us all I’m now looking to get into a company and full time employment.
I truly have the passion for this industry and am searching for the opportunity to progress within a company.
