My time at Davis roofing has been a learning one as I have taken on new skills such as lead work and also a lot more muck work. I have been doing domestic and commercial properties in my time at Davis. I have also done a small amount of liquid fiberglass roofing with Davis ie; box gutters and also small extensions. I have felt that I am more confident in my work now than I was about 2 years ago. I have been trusted with a company van which is me and my other workers responsibility.

Working on contracts employed on a large redevelopment of offices into Flats, raising the existing roof to incorporate the dormers. A role covering varied areas of construction and roofing. Re-felting residential flats, removing old flat roof to make ready for new Felt and Installation. Laying and cutting ply and installation and night Weld felt in place.

Working as part of a roofing team on large new build sites across the region. Constructing and tiling roofs for Housing Companies such as Barratt's, Redrow and David Wilson moving across multiple sites where houses, garages and flats are ready for roofing.
Skills I have obtained are working with tools to enable me to felt and batten roofs, load and cut tiles and fix tiles on a timescale as part of a team. I hold a CSCS card. Understanding of site Health and Safety and am very comfortable with working at height and outdoors in all weathers. The sites were closed due to the Covid-19.
