My career aim would be to establish a long-term career working with web and Cloud applications/technologies, focusing on website tracking and analysis with the use of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manger. Managing GA4 for web and GA4 Server-side, as I have been heavily focused within these areas over the last four years.

Implementing GA4 web and GA4 Server-side, e-commerce dataLayer event tracking, GTM custom tracking and validation, GDPR compliancy, CRO, A/B split testing and campaign tracking, working with high profile clients.

• Installing GA4 e-commerce, GA4 standard & custom tracking events for GA4 Web & GA4 Server-side.

Implementing GA4 Server-side for clients, using Google's App Engine and Google's Cloud Run applications within Googles Cloud Platform, utilizing Google’s flexible Cloud instances.

• Advising client developers and hosting administrators with regards to creating a first party sub domain for their

Google GA4 installation within Cloud.

• Implementing Content Management Platforms such as TrustArc, CookieBot and OneTrust.
• Exporting Google Analytics UA data to BigQuery and querying the database.
• Creating various API's using the coding language Python, APIs to extract data from GA4, Webgains Affiliates and other free API resources.

Using

Pandas in Python to extract and format API data.

• Working with other Google Library APIs such as Google’s Big Query’s Data Transfer API and Google's

Merchant API to extract data from the client's Google Merchant account periodically.

Retrieving

Google

Merchant account reports such as the price competitiveness report, so that it can be imported to Looker Studio periodically.

• Creating e-commerce developer briefs to instruct website developers of the requirements needed for correct implementation of GA4 e-commerce tracking, implementing e-commerce tracking using GA4 ecommerce and

GA4 standard dataLayer events. Along with the implementation of custom dataLayer events where needed.

• Create Conversion Rate Optimization tests (CRO) using Google Optimize and more recently using the CRO platforms; WebTrends Optimization and Optimizely.
• Implementing third party e-commerce and analytics tracking, within Google Tag Manager for third party platforms such as: AWIN, Bloom Reach, Conectia Affiliates, StackAdapt, Facebook/Meta web, Facebook

Server-side, TikTok, Twitter and Impact tracking.

• Performing Google Tag Manager audits within client accounts, validating all website tracking tags are firing as expected. Validating client websites with regards to GDPR compliancy, ensuring that the clients Content

Management Platform (CMP) is installed and functioning correctly & that the website is GDPR compliant with regards to the user’s cookie preferences. Making sure that the consent given by the user is respected by the client's tracking installed within their GTM container. Creating a validation report on the audit and giving feeding back to my team on the validation report, once completed.

• Create custom JavaScript tracking scripts, for custom, complex tracking requests.

Such applications as: PII redaction, form progression tracking, custom site search tracking, new vs returning user detection and new vs returning buyer detection, Dynamic website handling and user website exit detection on Desktop and Mobile devices.

• Perform first and third-party cookie audits, for e-commerce payment journeys and third-party campaigns,

validating any breaks/interruptions within the user’s website session cookies, as purchases are made, during the website checkout process.

• Training new and existing team members within JavaScript, HTM, CSS, Google Tag Manager, Google

Analytics, E-commerce, CRO coding, dataLayer tracking and Python APIs.

• Leading my team on Google Tag Manager website migration projects.
