Junior Entertainment officer - Carnival UK

I have been lucky enough to be working onboard various P&O cruise ships since 2019, where I am responsible for running the daytime and evening activities onboard. This includes hosting sporting events, quizzes, Karaoke, late night DJ and hosting some of the many guest acts onboard. While working for P&O cruises, I was in charge of a muster station.
This meant I was in charge of the safe evacuation of several hundred guests and crew in the event of an emergency. Part of my additional responsibilities, meant that I had to conduct regular drills and training sessions for the crew in my muster station.

I have worked for Golden Sands holiday resort on a full-time basis, my main duties have included hosting daytime and evening events including quizzes, bingo, karaoke, party dancers and live gameshow evening entertainment. I also had to provide entertainment for younger children, as well as gaining skills in lighting and sound control.

I have worked at Center Parcs on a part time business for several years, where I instruct a broad range of outdoor activities to both adults and children that included archery, climbing, abseiling and quad biking to name a few. From March 2009 I formed my own business, SpereMania Nottingham which involves participants rolling down a huge hill in a large inflatable Sphere. There are currently 14 sites within the UK, which all operate on a seasonal basis during weekends from April to October. During my first full season as the owner of the current Nottingham site, I was awarded franchisee of the year 2010.
I am responsible for all aspects of the Company; my main duties include the day to day running of the site, the hiring and training of staff members, daily health and safety inspections, creating sales invoices on a weekly basis and providing a set of accurate up to date accounts.
Booking office staff member - The Ski and Snowboard School

I have recently returned from working the Ski season at Cairngorm Mountain in Scotland, where I was employed by the Ski School working within a busy booking office. Duties in the office included dealing with customer queries both face to face, online and over the phone. Providing customers with quotes and taking bookings manually and utilising an online CMS system.
Snowboard Instructor - Perisher Blue ski resort

This is my third season working as a full-time snowboard instructor. While working for Perisher Blue I am part of the Smiggins Hole snow sport school. Most of the lessons are grouped based, instructing all abilities and levels.

I have worked for Rebel Sport on a full-time basis while living in Sydney Australia. It is a large store selling a wide range of sporting goods and accessories. My main role within the company was working within the snow sports department which included the issue of rental equipment and sales of retail goods.

I have worked at Center Parcs throughout the past year, where I instruct a broad range of outdoor activities to different age groups including High rope courses, abseiling, climbing and other outdoor activities. I've enjoyed the responsibility of looking after large groups.
Snowboard Instructor - Le Massif

This has been my first season working as a full-time snowboard instructor in Canada. I've enjoyed being in a position of responsibility and teaching people of different ages new, physically demanding, skills. Lessons at Le Massif ranged from private requests to large group lessons of different ages and abilities.
Ski hire - Snowdome, Tamworth

I worked at the Tamworth Snow dome full time on a seasonal contract. I worked within the ski hire during weekdays and at the ice dome during weekends and school holidays. Duties at the Snow dome included the issue of rental equipment, slope patrol and working within the ice dome. Duties there included issue of ice skates supervising, helping young children and many other daily tasks.
