Supporting the in-house Unix business software. Developing LAMP Web sites in PHP 3 for short term projects such as Desktop consolidation project. Which allowed the support team to organise a mass overhaul of our Windows Desktops Software/Hardware. This was accomplised by using the role out of Desktop monitoring software to gather Size of CPU / Memory / HDD. PHP Scripts developed to gather the data and create a document which is used on a labelling system. Redesigning the warehouse picking labels to deliver a more cost effective software/hardware solution. We went from Genicom Line printers to faster industrial Toner Printers. Used unix scripts to calculate the optimized ordering of labels to reduce waste due to the placement of perforations on every second label. Version one software was purchased to optimize the process. Was responsible for the install.
