James Taylor

Freelance photographer and online reseller with a passion for exploring unfamiliar places with some kind of camera in hand. Within the past two years, I have been working primarily in the online reselling market, buying items to sell on online marketplaces such as eBay, Etsy, and Depop. I produce all of my own photography for this, using a lightbox and natural light to photograph items.

I have honed my skills to position items and lighting in such a way to highlight the shape and form of a product, to bring out colours and details, while also aiming to maintain accuracy in representation so as not to sugarcoat the condition of the item with the photography. In addition to this, my experience working in a customer service role for Waitrose for over 5 years has developed strong communication and interpersonal skills. I'm a hard-working and committed individual with a wide range of photography experience in different environments.
