Having spent the last year working as a waiter to fianance my travelling I am now looking to embark on a career in financial services. As a 2023 graduate from Durham University In Human Geography, I found that I got the most enjoyment out of my modules in Money and finance, Climate change and my GIS mapping course. All of these modules involved anlysing data and using that to determine how it would impact stakeholders.
Throughout University I was a part of the Waterpolo team, Chess society and Poker society as well as my local church. Water polo povided the opportunity to enhance my communication skills with people from a multitude of backgrounds and cultures in order to achieve a common goal of staying in the top division at University. Chess has given me the ability to think strategically, analysing information however unpredictable and deciding what the best way to respond is based off that new information.
Throughout poker society I helped keep excel spreadsheets tracking players performances and contributed to the treasury side of the society.
