I am a very reliable and hardworking person, keen to learn new skills and traits. I have 17 years of experience in fabricating and welding dealing with welding such as TIG, MIG, MMA welding in aluminium stainless steel and steel, also grinding materials, cleaning and polishing welds to a tidy finish up to customers satisfaction whilst working for a couple of companies. During that time I gained many skills and qualifications.
During my career I also travelled to Australia and worked in the Welding industry, this has given me a unique skillset and I became involved in the admin side of the job, updating drawings, creating new drawings and also helping people understand CAD drawing so they can carry out the work and know exactly what they are looking at before undergoing the work. I also did structural steel welding and fabrication work out in Australia what was also very good knowledge for me of heavy duty what I enjoyed doing.

Since my time at Paragon i have took it on myself to learn more and more and now i am currently in the programming office taking on and updating old jobs for the shopfloor staff and updating drawing for welders to make drawing alot more easier to understand. Also been on a course for amada machinery and programming and nesting for cnc machinery.
Welding Manager / Supervisor - Paragon Precision

Due to my time at Paragon Precision I have carried on taking more and more on board and learning more traits such as cleaning stainless steel polishing to a high standard, blending materials and also still the Welding side of things such as MIG and TIG. After 2 years of been at Paragon Precision I was made welding manager. Making sure we hit tight deadlines and making sure the workload goes out on time and to the customers satisfaction.
Also dealing with the Drawing side of the job helping with CAD drawings and timing the jobs for the best prices for the customers also for the company.
Fabricator and Welder - Dave Jessop Ltd

Throughout my time away I kept in contact with my old employer, and upon returning to the UK I was asked to go back due to my previous work performance and new skills and experiences gained. This opened a new door for my boss and was able to get more work and take on a lot bigger jobs then usual and also teaching the team how to carry out these jobs and how to weld different types of material.
Draftsman/Fabricator and Welder - Bargain Steel (Based in Adelaide Australia) - Adelaide, Australia

My role with Bargain Steel initially was as a fabricator and welder, using all my previous years of experience I quickly became an integral part of the company. After 3 months I was offered the chance to become involved in the admin and design side of the company, using CAD as well as my own drawings eventually being given the new role as a Draftsman. With this job came a big responsibility as I also carried on welding with my team at the same time and together we got the jobs out that needed doing.
Fabricator and Welder - Dave Jessop Ltd

I started working at Dave Jessop's straight after school starting as an apprentice listening and following the guidance of experienced welders, whilst also going to Hull College (Cannon Street) on Thursdays of each week to achieve my certificates. Once I had completed my course, I was offered a permanent role as a fabricator and welder. And asked to include an extra day in my shifts.
As the years progressed, I gained more skills experience and knowledge and became the most experienced and trusted welder at the company, whenever a new project came in, I was always first port of call unless I was still busy working on another project.
