I am a freelance filmmaker and editor. I have made films for broadcast television, commercials for retailers such as Next and Cotton Traders, and video content for the NHS among others. In 2022 I directed the award-winning documentary 'Underdogs'. Later that year, I directed the film 'Man Down' which was featured on the BBC and received 'Pick of the Day' in The Sun TV guide. In July 2023 I was selected for BAFTA Connect, a development programme which supports future industry leaders.
Video Editor, Family History Films, 2023
I edited a feature length documentary about the client’s family history. I tied together stories from both the past and present into a cohesive and meaningful narrative. I was dealing with high end clients and so efficiency, attention to detail, and overall quality were paramount.
Filmmaker & Editor, Man Down, 2023
I directed and edited a documentary called Man Down, a film about mental health and masculinity within the music industry. It features artists such as Rag & Bone Man, Idles and Portishead, along with many others. The film is currently being screened at festivals worldwide and was recently featured on the BBC news channel. In May 2023 it featured as ‘Pick of the Day’ on The Sun TV guide.
Filmmaker & Editor, Marine Stewardship Council, 2023
I edited a promotional video for the Marine Stewardship Council. The film was used to attract funding from large scale donors such as the Gates Foundation. They needed a quick turnaround on the project, and so good communication and fast editing skills were a must. I am currently working on an ‘Explainer’ style series of videos for the organisation

I edited this documentary about a professional boxer who gets paid to lose fights. It was produced by film company Gorilla Gorilla and was released to festivals in January this year. It has been a great success and was recently selected for the BAFTA qualifying Bolton International Film Festival

I edited several films for the fashion retailer NEXT. I edited online fashion commercials and behind the scenes films. Attention to detail and creative flair were crucial in making the videos look great and be fun to watch

I made a short documentary film for the NHS to celebrate International Women’s Day. It focused on success stories of women working within the NHS. The film was made up of interviews and B-roll footage showing the day to day lives of female medical professionals
Filmmaker & Editor, Erbology, 2021
I made a series of ‘Guide To’ videos for this health food brand. The series was meant to explain the benefits of the products as well as promote them, so gorgeous visual were a must. Currently the series has over 120K views on YouTube
Filmmaker & Editor, Handel & Hendrix Museum, 2020
I made a series of live music films for the Handel & Hendrix Museum. The films consisted of live songs followed by an interview with the artist. In the edit I made sure to include lots of detail shots of the exhibits, to reflect the atmosphere of the venue and intimate performances. Artists involved included Rag & Bone Man and Grammy Nominated Nai-Palm

I worked with Christine Cynn, co-director of the Academy Award nominated film ‘The Act of Killing’. We travelled to China to make a documentary about martial arts and their cultural impact on eastern society
