Jamila Melbourne is a dedicated and organised Production Coordinator with experience in music videos, documentaries, and feature films. Currently working at DARE Pictures, she manages all aspects of production, including risk assessments, scheduling, crew coordination, and post-production paperwork using tools like Albert, Silvermouse, and Soundmouse. Her credits include MTV Digital’s Every Woman and Channel 4’s Fugitive: The Mystery of the Crypto Queen.

Previously, she supported pre-production for BBC’s Kindling at Lowkey Films, locations, costumes, and logistics. She also contributed to research and development projects, assisted CEOs, and gained valuable team management experience through charity work at Horizon. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and financial management, she combines technical expertise with strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.

With her flexible, hardworking approach and ability to collaborate with international teams, Jamila consistently delivers high-quality results across productions.

Jamila holds a First-Class Honours degree in Media Production from the University of Brighton and certifications, including DV Talent’s Production Coordinator training.
