NHS Great Western Hospital (GWH) – Volunteer

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team in a highly pressurized environment.
• Admin work including putting together and distributing information packs to patients.
• Taking patients from ward to ward and assisting patients with their needs.
• Given the responsibility to collect medication from the hospital pharmacy.
• Cleaning beds and rooms.
• Taking food orders every shift for the next day.

• Setting up and leading drills for aspiring hockey players aged 10 and under every Wednesday afternoon.
• Refereeing friendly matches against other teams.
• Able to resolve conflict between players, when necessary, therefore improving the experience players can get out of each session.
• Using my knowledge and experience to aid young players' improvement

Achieved first place in my school in the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Young Analyst Competition. Demonstrated skills and accuracy of results from each practical. A key to my team’s success was our ability to work together efficiently and communication with one another throughout the challenge was crucial.
