I am a caring and compassionate person who is able to work alone or in a group. I am able to prioritise me workload, and thorough and conscientious. I have undertaken many varied roles throughout my working life such as accounts assistant, care assistant, receptionist, call centre and retail.
I would prefer something part-time but would consider full-time, working longer hours over 4 days.
My most resent role was a care assistant, caring for the public, in their own homes. I found this job to be very rewarding and soon got promoted for team leader, over seeing other care assistants. The job was very varied working anytime from 6am until as late as 11.30pm.
Some of the things I would do were shopping, taking service users out, feeding, dressing, changing, cooking meals, washing, administering medication, whatever the service user needed we helped them with. Whilst being a team leader I was on-call therefore first point of contact out of office hours if a service user or carer needed help, signed off visit notes and over saw the rota. I was with the company for 2 years, very much enjoyed this role but unfortunately developed a spine problem making it painful to continue.
Prior to the above role I had my own retail equestrian business. I had 2 shops, purchased stock from suppliers as well as personally designing and having stock manufactured in India. I gained a lot of varied experience doing this but unfortunately Covid 19 put an end to the business as I wasn't big enough to recover from the effects of being closed.
The most recent education I have done is getting my care certificates, these were done via remote learning. Prior to this I completed 2 year nursing degree, completed AAT Level 1, Banking Exam and GCSE's
