With an experienced background in Logistics, I am innovative, and goal driven with high attention to detail. Applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills day-to-day, I am eager for new challenges and to further develop myself. I am a dedicated team member as well as a proven team leader with a pro-active personal manner.
I first started as a Logistics/Project Coordinator aged 21 and have been involved in helping deliver hard landscaping materials to some remarkable projects across the U.K. ever since. Over the years, I’ve helped organise a number of events through our Charity and Social Committee and it's also my third year as a member of our Employee Voice Council as we became Employee Owned in 2022. During the weekends and in any spare time I have, I become a ‘Balloon Artist’ and help to plan events and create intricate and unique balloon designs - something I first started doing as ‘a bit of fun’ but ended up finding I had the talent for it.
Working in a fast-paced and demanding environment, I am responsible for the accurate and timely fulfilment of deliveries, coordinating closely with production, sales teams, and external stakeholders. I manage individual projects across various hard landscaping schemes nationwide, ensuring clear communication and forecasting of shipments. My role involves improving operational efficiency through effective truck utilisation, real-time tracking of orders, and proactive problem-solving.
I work directly with customers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to coordinate deliveries via email, phone, and onsite meetings, while also exploring future business opportunities. I am proficient in Microsoft Office, Sage 50, and Sage 200.
Between September 2014 – May 2017, I studied English and Creative Writing at the University of Salford. I graduated with a 2:1. I also went to both college and high school.
