Compassionate and dedicated registered nurse who has been registered from 2019, seeking to transition into a non-bed side role where I can leverage my healthcare expertise to drive positive outcomes. Skilled in patient advocacy, healthcare coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration, I bring a strong foundation in problem-solving, communication, and leadership.

I am a quick learner, with clinical backgrounds in emergency and high dependency settings which I have been able to work in high pressure situations and adapted to work and lead teams in emergency situations. I am hoping to bring these skills into a non-clinical role.

I am also open to branching out to different sectors, where my skills learnt working as a nurse are interchangeable with many job roles. I am interested into looking into NHS projects, occupational health, or health and safety roles.

Employed at the High Observation Unit (HOBs) at Colchester General Hospital; East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. HOBs is a high dependency unit for patients who require a higher level of care and monitoring. Working here has given me the opportunity to work alongside advanced nurses and the ICU team, in order to learn various skills from them. Here I have been able to deliver care to patients with conditions such as:-

• Heart block,
• Diabetic Ketoacidosis,
• Severe Sepsis with organ failure,
• Hyperglycaemic Hyperosmolar Syndrome,
• Patients News >5
• Patient GCS from 8
• Necrotizing Fasciitis
• Rhabdomyolysis

From working in this unit I also worked for 2 months with COVID-19 patients who required non-invasive ventilation such as CPAP and Optiflow. As well as being trained on using these machines, here l also ensured that patients were comfortable in their last days of life and kept families up to date. I was also trained on taking and analysing Arterial Blood Gases.
