Working as part of a construction and groundworks team across a range of site activities and projects, with responsibility for completing work safely, efficiently and to required standards. Regularly supports the safe organisation and coordination of site activities and works alongside other trades and site personnel.

• Carry out general groundworks, excavation and site preparation activities
• Support supervision and safe coordination of site activities where required
• Maintain high standards of health and safety and challenge unsafe working practices appropriately
• Follow site drawings, instructions, method statements and relevant safe working procedures
• Work safely around underground utilities and services
• Use CAT & Genny equipment to assist with locating underground services
• Carry out hydrostatic pressure testing and electrofusion work
• Work within confined spaces in accordance with training and site controls
• Operate articulated dumpers, MEWPs and other equipment within relevant training and certification
• Use abrasive wheels and power tools safely and correctly
• Coordinate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, contractors and other trades
