Since 2019, I’ve developed extensive experience across data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting, with a particular focus on Power BI. I’ve led the delivery of high-priority reports for business-critical projects, including supporting a business acquisition by successfully project managing and delivering key reporting tools used by leadership teams to track business performance. Alongside this, I’ve worked closely with Power BI developers to enhance data modelling efficiency and managed Power BI workspaces and applications for over 2,000 users, ensuring secure and accurate data access across the organisation.
My technical expertise includes advanced use of Power BI, DAX, Tabular Editor, and DAX Studio, complemented by strong SQL skills for querying and modelling large datasets. I’ve consistently taken a hands-on role in analysing KPIs, identifying data trends, and producing bespoke dashboards and reports to support decision-making at both operational and executive levels. This has included presenting insights directly to managing directors and group vice presidents, as well as creating data-driven presentations using both Power BI and Microsoft PowerPoint.
In addition to technical delivery, I’ve been actively involved in training, onboarding, and developing new BI team members, fostering their growth and ensuring consistent support for business-as-usual tasks and projects. I’ve also contributed to major systems integrations, such as the Pinnacle DMS implementation, and played a key role in data validation and variance analysis during a Databricks migration.
Earlier in my career, I developed and maintained business reports and dashboards using Excel, Power Query, and Power Pivot, building a solid foundation in data analysis and visualisation. Throughout this time, I’ve maintained a strong focus on data quality, problem-solving, and clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring data-driven insights are effectively shared to support business objectives.
