I was working for dhl on the Sainsbury's contract via petrochemicals services. Delivering fuel to Sainsbury's forcourts, I really enjoyed working for dhl and was awaiting for a job opputunity to arise, jj taylor transport limited.

I undertook pre vehicle checks, programmed load instructions into a computerised loading gantry and loaded fuel onto different compartments of the tankers, following strict protocol. I then delivered this fuel to Shell petrol stations all over the UK. Arriving on site I had to take control of the petrol station and follow safe systems of work and ensure health and safety was met for the delivery of the fuel and also be mindful of public and environmental safety.

I was responsible for the safe operation of a case loading shovel and Volvo A25 vehicles. Duties included daily maintenance assisting in mechanical repairs to Lorries, fork trucks and puncture repairs, observing strict operating procedures, loading materials onto hoppers, stock control and stock placement. I also covered for sickness.
Further to this I gained a lot of experience from other job roles enlisted to me which included plant machine maintenance, driving, loading Lorries, operating manual and computerised robotic bagging machines. I attended health and safety meetings and carried out risk assessments.
