I am a hardworking and reliable young worker with a Level 1 Hospitality and Catering qualification and experience as a waiter, kitchen porter and bar staff. These roles have strengthened my customer service skills, taught me how to stay organised and focused, and shown I can deliver high standards. Alongside continuing to build workplace experience, I'm aiming to broaden my practical skills, including exploring a construction course in September to widen my career options.

I am looking for a retail or customer service role where I can contribute positively to a team and continue developing my skills and make the most of opportunities to learn.

Restaurant Team Member at Brewers Fayre (2025-07 – 2025-09)

Restaurant is unfortunately closing in September

• Greeting guests, taking orders and serving & clearing food and drinks.
• Assisting chefs in the kitchen with dessert preparation and basic food prep.
• Serving behind the bar, taking orders and pouring drinks.
• Handing cash and processing payments.
• Cleaning work areas, washing dishes and completing closing duties.

Weekend Chef at The Devon Hotel (2025-03 – 2025-06)

• Preparing and cooking food for lunch and dinner, including Sunday carvery.
• Ensuring serving trays are well stocked and assisting with smooth kitchen service
• Maintaining high kitchen hygiene and safety standards.

Work experience - Kitchen at Exeter University (2023-07 – 2023-07)

• Traying up food for the breakfast service such as bacon, sausages and pastries; and baking flapjacks and apple sponge cakes.
• Stocking the fridges, washing dishes and keeping surfaces clean.

Work experience at Eat on the Green (2023-10 – 2024-05)

3 hours per week (whilst at school)

• Taking customer orders and payments.
• General table waiting and cleaning tasks.
