Qualified Counsellor (University of Sunderland 2007). Specialising in Bereavement Counselling, Couples Counselling and Person Centred Counselling. Qualified as Clinical Supervisor since 2008, with experience managing a team of 12 Counsellors involving workload management, confidentiality, databases and clinical records.
Throughout career have led Bereavement Groups including work with children and Family Support Groups dealing with loss of family members to suicide. Also worked as a talk down service with the police.

Working as a funeral service arranger, looking after the deceased and their loved ones through their most difficult time offering daily support as we work to plan their loved ones' funerals. Meticulous work through paperwork effectively, ensuring it is looked after in a timely manner to meet the needs of the funeral.
Directors in their role, contacting necessary services and other branches to ensure smooth running of the funeral for the family and loved ones. Passed driving assessment to drive company vehicles. Have developed several additional skills including keen interest in memorials, funeral plans and working in the community.
Adapt well to manager's requests with other parts of the job, including arranging memorial services, looking after Facebook page and general skills within garage orders, banking, ordering stock and paperwork management. Carry out care calls with families after funerals. Look after the branch on a daily basis and keep it to a high standard.

Counselling Clinical Co-Ordinator - National Mental Health Charity

Developed a successful Counselling service which has been established for almost 20 years. Clinical role interacting and meeting with the board of Trustees to identify trends and any associated funding required to develop and implement additional services (e.g General Practitioner Counselling Service throughout the City of Sunderland). Wide network of other professional bodies interacted with as part of daily role, including Police, Legal Representatives, NHS colleagues and Non Professionals.
Provision of varied Bereavement Counselling Services delivered via multiple methodologies (In person, Via Telephone, Via Teams, Zoom, or in Group form). Monitor all daily incoming email activity, prioritising and rearranging constantly alongside other service deadlines and unpredictable circumstances. All work underpinned by recognising and adhering to BACP standards.
