I have a broad understanding of business development acquired through intense study and exposure to organisational operations on a management level for Almost 20 years. As a Tax officer I was responsible For assisting tax payers meet their tax obligation. I worked on various projects such as international VAT applicatikns and employee benefits. i learned a vast array of new skills and worked with a variety of IT systems.

Store Manager - Pound Express

Pound express is a discount retail store operating in a central location. I was responsible for all aspects of managing the store. My previous experience as a store manager enabled me to make quick progress in this role and further enhance the stores performance.

Manager - Europcar - Dublin airport branch

Europcar is one of the largest car rental firms in the world. I was based in the Dublin airport branch which deals with hundreds of rentals daily. As part of the management team I was responsible for all aspects of running the branch, this includes managing the fleet as well as the returns, sales and customer service teams.

The Branch consists of around 50 employees and thousands of vehicles. It is a massive operation which requires excellent organisation skills and the ability to work under intense pressure. It was a varied role and I was constantly learning, managing a tight fleet while motivating the team to achieve high sales targets and customer satisfaction simultaneously.

I feel proud to have been a contributor to its success. My role involved managing a team of professional guards consistently raising their performance to exceed customer expectations.

Store Manager - T J Morris

TJ Morris (Home Bargains) is a large discount retail brand operating all over the UK. Working for a discount store meant having a small budget, fewer colleagues yet had to deal with a very large volume of work. This transformed me into a highly efficient and effective manager who has the ability to deal with constant pressure and difficult people. I was responsible for all aspects of running this store which was generating over £120,000 a week and employed over 30 colleagues.

Branch Corporate Accounts Manager (BCAM) - Enterprise Rent A Car

Enterprise is one of the largest car rental firms in the world. Employees are highly motivated and very professional. Working for Enterprise was a motivating experience and allowed me to further enhance my ability to excel in a sales environment.

I was made Branch Corporate Accounts Manager (BCAM) due to my interest in Marketing. I was responsible for creating and managing corporate accounts that were to be serviced by that particular branch. I was mainly dealing with local companies however I did manage to secure a contract with Thomas Cook the travel agent.

This contract only covered one of their branches but it also presented an opportunity to make an impression and further develop our relationship with them.
