I'm Jemma Jamie Skidmore, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself to you. I'm a British artist and illustrator who is passionate about creating works that speak to children and broaden their world.
With a background in Fine Art - I studied at Falmouth University in Cornwall - I've worked with some amazing clients over the years, including Disney and Vogue. I've worked on productions for popular streaming services like Netflix, Amazon, and Apple TV in Vancouver, BC. But now, I'm back in the UK and eager to work with you!
When I'm not creating beautiful artwork, I love exploring the outdoors and diving into captivating pictorial books. I'm always looking for inspiration and creative ideas, and I'm sure you are too. So, let's work together to make something special that speaks to you.
As someone with dyslexia, I know how difficult it can be to feel confident in your abilities, especially in the retail industry. That's why I'm committed to creating a supportive and encouraging environment for all my clients. I want to help you bring your vision to life, regardless of your educational background or support network.

I have worked full time as a freelance professional illustrator for the last three years and have published work with Simon and Schuster and Oxford University Press, alongside various other projects for print, TV and film.
Prior to this I worked in set decoration for Film and TV for around 8 years and was responsible for managing teams of decorators and procuring props and dressing on large scale productions in both the UK and Canada.
